Universe whisperer

I have a little confession to make – one of my favourite TV shows of all time is The Dog Whisperer. Now don't laugh. I love the show, the way Cesar Milan works with energy and tells dog owners to 'be in the moment' – it's all so Zen-like. And he gets great results. I want to BE the dog whisperer (heh heh).

But I'm digressing. The reason I'm writing is that while watching said favourite telly programme with a giant mug of tea, and my feet up on the coffee-table, I had a realisation *ding!* (Nearly spilled my tea) Now, hold on to your hats, this one is a bit 'far out'. Cesar shows us how amazing these dogs are because they tune in totally to our energy. They live in the 'now', and respond accordingly. It is never about changing the dog, but changing the humans' energy. So what if the Universe functions in a similar way – responding entirely to our energy. In the moment. So when we send out our requests, but our energy is saying something else, said Universe doesn't 'hear' it, and we get no delivery. We won't change our lives until our energy changes. So we first work on getting our energy to be 'in the moment', relaxed and confident. Or, as Cesar puts it 'calm-assertive'. Something to ponder?

OK...you are totally on to something here!!! I LOVE this! It is all about energy. I find it so interesting that I am turning off so many things that have sucked my energy dry. I feel a new source of energy now...curious to see where this all leads.

I LOVE the dog whisperer, but I am totally addicted to Dog Town now. You just moved up the ranks from Awesome to Unbelievably Fan-Freaking-Tastic.

I'm a bit confused. Is this the same theory as positive attraction?

This is SO true! It is so easy to get distracted and unfocused. When we do, the energy of the world around us changes too. If we focus negatively then we seem to wallow in negativity, if we focus on happiness, we seem to enjoy happiness. You put it best I think….

“We won't change our lives until our energy changes. So we first work on getting our energy to be 'in the moment', relaxed and confident. Or, as Cesar puts it 'calm-assertive'.”

Can you imagine if we all were in the moment and focusing on Peace, Love and Joy?!?!? Hmm anything’s possible…. I Love you Thoughts here!!! Love and Light, Nina P.

Firstly HO I LOVE the Dog Whisperer too. I only get to watch it at Joseph's place (if he lets me) and I marvel at how the dogs respond to Cesar. A real namaste moment.

I realised a few years ago the very best things happen when I let go of the urgent desire, when I do all I need to do and then 'put it out there' to the Universe, and get on with my work and life.

When I can confidently release, knowing I have done everything possible, the Universe takes care of everything. Not in my time but in Universal Time (UT). I like to speed up UT but it won't allow me to. The right things happen according to a plan of which I have no knowledge - and they are always for the best. Always!! What a comfort that is sometimes. What a frustration at other times.

Absolutely. You can't con the universe.

Like when a person says to a dog, 'come here, I won't hurt you', but their intention is to do just that. And the dog knows it.

We can SAY we want our lives to change, we can SAY we want better, but nothing will change until our souls are ready and truly asking for it.

imo anyway :)

Hi I have stopped by on Caroline's advice.
Interesting thought. I have often believed positive energy breads positive energy and negative energy breads negative energy and this is why people become depressed. It starts off with one thing going wrong and then their attitude changes and they are in a rut.
A calm and assertive outlook sounds good and if our request aren’t met then maybe just maybe they weren’t meant to be.

Hi! Have you ever seen the Secret? In many ways this is exactly what they spoke of. It's lovely to meet a like minded new friend!

Sometimes I wonder if it's not so much about unclear intentions, but simply letting the Universe show us the path. Once we find the path, and accept it -- the Universe PUSHES us further along. We just gotta hang on for the ride! :)

I'm reading a book about ESP and canine intelligence. I'll send you the title later. :)

Very interesting. I so agree with you about the dog whisperer too. I don't have a dog (tho I love dogs alot) but I watch from time to time because I learn about being a better more present human being from Cesar Milan. He's fascinating.

Hi I've found your blog at Carolines and yes this is so true. I didn't hold on to my hat to (wasn't wearing one,...) hihi.

I've got this great book that says to send out your longings and questions into the univere. Then you have to let your delivery go so they can work on it. And it works every single time I put out a quiestion. I sure will look it up (that book it is) and leave the autor in my next comment.

Tanks for the post. It needed to be said.
Be well Dagmar

Thanks Caroline for directing people over here - how sweet of you! Yeah - it's all about energy.

Shannanigans - well what can I say - I'm just glad there are others who love the show too (I get a lot of stick about it from hubby!)

Sema - thanks for posting. You have a wonderful blog yourself with lots of articles I'm going to explore!

Carol - I'm not sure - perhaps you need to post about positive attraction. Where did you hear about it?

Nina - Yes - imagine if everyone on the planet got to that same space - wow it would be amazing! But we each can do our bit, one step at a time. One blog post at a time ;0)

Peggy - Isn't he amazing? He has the animals sorted in just minutes. Animals always respond to energy. I know that one of our cats would be very choosy indeed who he went up to. It was intriguing to see who he chose to be with. (And a good way of sussing out tradesmen - to find out the ones who were trustworthy!) You are right of course about letting go, but when it's something you (think) you really need - it's so hard!

Mon - thanks for posting. You are so right when you say "nothing will change until our souls are ready and truly asking for it". I guess we need to work on getting to that state of mind. Or maybe we don't. Maybe we let go, and allow our true soul's yearning to come through.

Liss - hello and welcome. Energy does indeed seem to spiral - either negatively or positively. I suppose sometimes we need to catch ourselves in a negative spin and somehow turn it round.

Tabitha - Yes I have read it. You have some pretty interesting posts on your blog - I like the 15 things to be happy about.

Naomi - That book sounds interesting. I have one on my table called 'Dogs That Know when Their Owners Are Coming Home' by Rupert Sheldrake. I recommend it. He is trying to scientifically prove what many of us animal lovers have known for a long time - he has some interesting theories about how it all works.

Kavindra - I don't have a dog either! But as you say, he shows us how to be better human beings. I love that aspect of the show. Cesar Milan is so mindful, whether he intends it or not. I would love to meet him in person.

Jeanne - love to you too.

Linda - Thanks for posting! You have a very interesting blog so I'm glad we have hooked up.

Barefoot from Heaven - thanks for dropping by. Great that you are learning how it all works. I think it takes practice (!) Oh, and being in a 'calm assertive' mood!

Very clever. I think you are quite right. If we send out our request we also have to really believe it
Often our unconcious has beliefs which are not in line with the things we ask and might effect the energy negatively as well. Interesting thoughts

Great AHA moment! I totally understand what you mean, and you are right! It's ALL about OUR energy, in everything, every moment of our lives, we can change and do anything if we are present.
That's my believe.
We could all change the world to a better place if we would change inside - in a second everything would be different!
If we would realize what live is really about..
IF...

I feel the best way to practise developing this positive, focused energy is with animals! My hubby right now is tuning in to a cat who has wandered in to our home and now has decided to stay! Hubby is finding great joy in delivering his feelings/thoughts to the cat and clearly the cat responds. Just a passing comment like "I'm going to bed now" gets the cat to go to his favourite chair to settle for the night!

I concur...It is up to us to be totally in the moment, relaxed and at ease--just as the Universe is. When we can (and do) we are in alignment, open and receptive to ALL possibilities. If we can model the Universe's stance in this way, then we serve as a microcosm of it. Pure creativity...

That's right HBFG - you must feel 'in the zone' when you are working with your beautiful horses. Great spiritual teachers.

Gemma - How lovely that your hubby has found a feline friend. I think animals are natural healers - they know how to just 'be' with people. We have a lot to learn from them.

Jan - I'm all for that! In my case, I think I have a way to go - but getting there. Little realisations along the way like this one mean I must be making progress.
