Off to market!

Well some of you may wonder where I've been lately (while most probably haven't missed me!) Well, I've gone back to my roots - been designing and making jewellery for an upcoming craft fair. (Reminds me of why I even started this blog - to promote my jewellery.) It's been a long time since I've been out there and sold (tried to sell) my jewellery - been working like mad and now have a decent stock to present. Let's hope it was all worth it! Here is one of my newest pieces: a power necklace, made from jasper and sardonyx.

And you have to see my new funky ear-ring holders!! Made from old metal cheese-graters, sprayed and spruced up. They are just perfect for the job! (And recycled, of course).

The main problem with this whole market thing is that I have had to 'dance with the devil' (meaning I had to promote on Facebook - shudders). If you are on Facebook, there is a link on the right of my blog. Better look quick because when this market is over I reckon I'm going to ditch it!

I realise most of you reading this live abroad, but for anyone who wants to know, the market is tomorrow (26 November), 10 til 3pm, Christchurch Girls High, 10 Matai Street, near Hagley Park. Come say hello to 'Love the Earth' (that's me!)

Wish me luck!

You know I am a HUGE fan of your jewellery and I love the funky cheese-grater ear-ring holders.

Here is wishing you best of luck in different languages.....just for fun!

"Ich wünsche Ihnen alle allerbeste"

"Jeg ønsker demre alle det meget best"

"Ik wens u alle heel best"

Good Luck with the sale. Its certainly the time of year to promote sales. I know a lot of people on FB that have really enhanced their income through FB. I HATE that place though.

BE Well, BE safe.

Thanks folks! It went pretty well - came out ahead and had a very enjoyable day meeting new people. But let's face it - this will only ever be a way for me to cover the costs of my hobby. And that is fine by me! :o)
